Yes Virginia, Girls Can Do Math
Children's fiction (ages 8-13)

While growing up in the 60s and 70s, when I had issues with math everyone told me "That's OK, girls aren't supposed to be good at math." Everyone that is except my Dad, who pushed me hard and refused to believe that garbage. He was strict and demanding, but I am thankful for him and want to help others escape antiquated thinking and make math their friend like I did. During my days as an Algebra I and II teacher for the University of Phoenix, I encountered many female students who were similarly discouraged. I wrote this simple book to help girls understand they CAN do math, so they don't face this issue in later years.
